I am thinking of time today in relation to my developed to-do list. - Joining and online sport book program comes with needed learning; - Preparing my forthcoming title, Human Being, Human Doing, has some pre-publication issues to resolve; - Urging a family member to keep moving forward in life takes minutes but adds up; - My four-evening per week piano gig is semi-retirement income; - Being a voracious reader takes 6-7 hours each week; - Monitoring comments from a recent story having appeared at Https://www.spillwords.com/author/davidcrussell is pleasurable and happy to see nearly 20 persons read "Puddles and S..t". I learned from one of the recent articles posted that the virus Monkeypox was discovered by Danish scientists in 1958. In the early 1970s, there were 70 cases of this virus found in people living in the U.S. The carrier were believed then to be pet prairie dogs. Mostly, the virus has been confined to West and Central Africa according to the article.      Hello Grafted In Readers, August 1, 2022, Monday, in my corner of blog land. I have been busy with writing projects, and was spurred to return after a several month absence by a recent comment! I am also working on a self collection of faith-based stories to publish in Spring 2023 on my side of the equator. My grandchildren are doing fine. Hello Grafted In Readers, Today is June 17, 2021 in my corner of blog land. I have been silent for over a year with this blog, and much of the reason is due to not understanding the changed format by Blogger. My health remains intact, we recently moved from a condo to a medium-sized home across town, have been posting stories at: www.spillwords.com/author/davidcrussell They are free to read and hope you might do so. I have been playing a piano gig since May this year as the Covid virus restrictions are gradually being lifted where we reside. It has been quite the month for civil roiling, roguish behavior, and near upheaval in North America and spread to international fronts. I will leave it to the "experts" for their explanations, but you can bet the "r" word is a capstone of this latest round of bitching: racism! Is anything worthwhile going on that deserves some notice? Yep, let me mention a few. - This is today the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.
