Man In The Middle (Song, Michael Jackson, 1990s)
Hello Grafted In Readers,
Today is May 14, 2026 in my corner of Blog Land.
How is your month of May going for you?
It has been a busy month for me with some new things occurring in my life. I am learning to use the social site, Zoom Meeting online. This will help me be more involved with other avocational writers like myself.
In addition to reading another Victoria Thompson novel, City of Lies, I am embarking on reading a theological/historic book by one Dr. Bart Ehrman. He now depicts himself as a historian of early Christianity rather than a Christian historian. His book titled, How Jesus Became God, is of interest and intrigue to me.
With life influence in Lutheranism, I feel a bit 'out there' in being one to question things like God being One in Three Persons, the incarnation of Christ, infant baptism which Archaeology claims was instituted some centuries ago to answer response to a global plague. Most Lutheran clergy unlike Paul Harvey, only give their respective congregants part of the story...
I found this short explanation by the group, Jews for Jesus, helpful to put the notion of the Trinity in perspective. Read below.
In Messianic Jewish theology, while the terms "Trinity" and "triunity" are often used interchangeably to describe God as one Being in three persons, "triunity" or "complex unity" is preferred to emphasize compatibility with Hebrew scripture's affirmation of God as one (
). The distinction is largely semantic and strategic: "Trinity" can mistakenly suggest polytheism, whereas "triunity" highlights a compound unity that aligns with Jewish tradition.

Me: I have a story idea noodling around about creating a short story about two sisters named Trinity and Serenity. Their names will have with them personality traits that befit each one, and act based on their name. It's a start!
My next read is by authors John and Jesse Kellerman, Crime Scene. His spouse, Faye Kellerman, was an author whose works I read a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed them at the time.
Until our next visit, may the Lord continue to bless and keep us!
